When a new subaccount is created you will see a question regarding beneficial ownership on the modal. This is to ensure that the correct ownership documentation has been submitted to your financial institution in case of change in organization ownership to ensure there are documents in place for compliance purposes.
In the event that there was a ownership change and the related documentation was not submitted yet to the financial institution, you may choose to not accept the attestation in which case you will not be able to create a new subaccount. If this is the case, please submit the updated beneficial owner information to your financial institution before creating a new subaccount.
